The Trade & Investment (TI) and the Financial Services, Taxes & Tariffs (FSTT) committee of the chamber is hosting a session with the Export - Import Bank of the United States (EXIM) on May 22, 2024, 2:00 PM to 2:35 PM (For the General Session) and 2:35 PM to 3:30 PM (For the 1-on1 session) at the AmCham Robert Sears Hall (2/F Corinthian Plaza Building, Paseo de Roxas, Makati City).
The Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM) is the official export credit agency of the United States. EXIM is an independent Executive Branch agency with a mission of supporting American jobs by facilitating the export of U.S. goods and services.
When private sector lenders are unable or unwilling to provide financing, EXIM fills in the gap for American businesses by equipping them with the financing tools necessary to compete for global sales. In doing so, the agency levels the playing field for U.S. goods and services going up against foreign competition in overseas markets. A wide range of programs offered by EXIM, including loan, loan guarantee and insurance, may enable buyers in the Philippines without access to viable private sector financing to procure goods and services from U.S.
