AmCham came to life in 1902 as the Manila Coffee Round Table and later as Manila Merchants Association. Incorporated in 1920, it has since then recognized and reconfirmed the commitment of American business to the development and welfare of the Philippines and the Filipino people.

AmCham's Healthcare and Wellness Committee, together with the Security and Disaster Resources Group, will be having a discussion entitled "Briefing on the 2019-nCov in the Philippines". The meeting will be from 12 NN โ€“ 2 PM, on February 6, 2020 (Thursday) at AmCham Hall, 2/F Corinthian Plaza, Paseo de Roxas cor. Gamboa St., Makati City. The discussion will talk about key information about the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCov) and some health risk mitigation for organisations against the outbreak that allegedly started from Wuhan, China and has affected a growing number of lives across the globe.
