CEO and Philippine Software Industry Association President, Jonathan De Luzuriaga aka JDL, Reed Elsevier Managing Director, Mark Lwin, and OPTEL Managing Director Don Felbaum.

    JDL has been the president of the PSIA for the past six years and has contributed immensely to the country’s growth and development in the Technology and Innovation Sector. He leads the nation’s promotions and marketing efforts with successful inbound and outbound missions to Asia and other parts of the world. He has been an industry representative for more than a decade and has ably supported various engagements covering talent development and countryside development. He also plays a pivotal role in ICT development in the countryside. Over his many years in the ICT industry, he has established very strong links with government partners such as DTI, DOST, CHED, and DICT. He has also successfully established the makings of the Silicon Valley of the Philippines, Spring Valley, in the Visayas. He is a former Executive Director of the IT and Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP) and has managed several software development companies. He is a staunch supporter of the startup movement in the country and has successfully launched several startups of his own, Including OJTPH.com (Powered by Globe Business), Digital Pilipinas (endorsed by Tholons as its official digital scorecard platform in the Philippines), Protech, Nexus and ICON. He also serves as an adviser for Tholons for its Services Globalization Index (TSGI) and is an independent World Bank consultant for technology and IT-related matters.

    Managing Director of Reed Elsevier Philippines

    Mark is currently the Managing Director for Reed Elsevier Philippines, a 4,700-strong knowledge services and technology company servicing LexisNexis, Elsevier, and the RELX group of companies worldwide. Previously, he spent 16 years as a senior executive for AIG in a variety of roles: general manager for AIG’s insurance arm in the Philippines, Transformation Officer for the Asia Pacific, and head of AIG Shared Services in Asia. In these and previous roles, Mark has spent two decades based in Manila and Kuala Lumpur in a variety of general management, business, and operational leadership roles.

    Mark has more than 30 years of management experience in the United States and international businesses and has held a variety of leadership roles across financial services, healthcare, and IT industries. He has served as a Director for the American Chamber of Commerce Philippines and other non-profit boards in the Philippines. Mark was a Six Sigma Black Belt for GE Capital and was an officer in the US Marine Corps. He has MBA and MA degrees from George Washington University and a BA degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
