The Energy & Power (EP) and Trade & Investment (TI) committees of the chamber is hosting a session entitled, "Gearing Towards Energy Efficiency: A Discussion on the Energy Initiatives and Opportunities in improving Energy Resiliency in the Philippines" to be held on May 22, 2024, 10 AM to 12 NN at the AmCham Robert Sears Hall (2/F Corinthian Plaza Building, Paseo de Roxas cor. Gamboa St., Makati City).


The session will be graced by Dr. Lesley Wilhelm of the U.S. Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Indian Head in Maryland. The discussion will focus on the energy infrastructure improvement opportunities and investment frameworks to improve energy resiliency in the Philippines.

    Dr. Wilhelm is the customer advocate for ground, expeditionary, and Special Operations Command applications at Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head, Maryland. She holds a PhD in chemistry from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and a master’s in professional military education from the Eisenhower School at National Defense University. She has worked as an action officer at the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Research, Development, Test, and Engineering as well as a project officer for Marine Corps fires at the Office of Naval Research.
