2019 is an election year and the Commission on Elections (Comelec) Gun Ban is in effect since January 13 and will last until June 12. In recent reports, it is worthy to note that aside from the Gun Ban, the Comelec said that the transport of controlled chemicals is also banned during the election period.
In line with this, The American Chamber of Commerce of the Philippine's (AMCHAM) Manufacturing Committee is organizing a committee meeting on April 4, 2019, entitled: "A briefing on the COMELEC Ban on Firearms and Controlled Chemicals Transportation" at the AmCham Hall, Makati City.
The Committee Event intends to brief AMCHAM member and non-member companies on the COMELEC Gun ban and its coverage. The event also aims to be a platform for both public and private stakeholders to discuss COMELEC regulatory measures affecting the delivery and transportation of Controlled Chemicals.
