Event Details
It has been a year since the detection of the first COVID-19 case in the Philippines and we continue to coexist with the pandemic. One of the most affected sectors is the education sector, forcing educators and students to conduct schooling in their own homes. Apart from this, parents and household members are now involved in the learning process, assisting students in their online classes and learning modules.
With the vaccines soon to be available and bringing hope to finally put an end to the global pandemic, many are anticipating the next steps of the education sector with regards to learning continuity while ensuring the safety of both instructors and learners.
AmCham Philippines' Education committee will hold a meeting to give a 2021 Update on Learning Continuity in the Age of COVID-19 on March 10, 2021 (Wednesday), at 2:00-3:00 PM via Zoom. The event will discuss the current education landscape in the Philippines, and provide updates on new guidelines, initiatives, and upcoming plans of the Department of Education to ensure learning continuity during the COVID-19 pandemic.
