On Earth Day, April 22, AmCham Philippines' 3 committees, Environment, and Urban Development (EUD) Committee, Professional Women of AmCham (PWoA) Committee and Sustainability Committee, will come together for a virtual event in partnership with 3M Philippines entitled, "Cleaner Skies, Liveable Cities; Initiatives on Improving Clean Air in the Philippines" at 10:00AM via Zoom. In this web-event, we will discuss 3M's efforts in improving and reducing the country's air pollution and carbon footprint. Furthermore, we will be exploring the different ways how both the private and public institutions can contribute and join us in stopping climate breakdown and improve clean air for our society.
Through this virtual discussion, we will help participants better understand the opportunity on how their organizations can address and reduce their own environmental footprint and positively contribute to cleaner air through effective planning, implementing measures, and policies that would safeguard the air quality in their respective areas. This will give leaders both from private and public institutions the opportunity to create a sustainable and greener future.
