Event Details

The Sustainability Committee of the Chamber will be conducting a webinar about Staying in the Know: Resonating ESG Factors to Corporate Social Responsibility on September 21, 2021, from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM with ADEC Philippines' Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, James M. Donovan.

This discussion will pave the way for great discussions on the beneficial nature of CSR initiatives as well as the incorporation of ESG factors, how to save costs, suggestions to sustainability programs, and the like. It will also stress the importance of economic viability, partnership with organizations committed to addressing crises, corporate stewardship, and preventing future risk to strategic planning.

James M. Donovan

Global CEO & Co-Founder of ADEC Innovations

Mr. James Donovan is the Co-Founder and Global CEO of ADEC Innovations, an Environment, Social, and Governance assurance company that provides consultancy, technology, workforce, and impact investment solutions. In 2019, Jim was awarded Doctor of Humanities, Honoris Causa by Anaheim University for his significant contribution as a strategic advisor to international organizations, businesses, and governments in the areas of Public-Private Partnerships and sustainability.

For his lifetime dedication to delivering ESG Assurance solutions, Jim received the United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation Visionary Award in 2014. He was also assigned to lead the Data and Knowledge Chapter of the Global Environmental Outlook 6 (GEO6), which aims to develop Big Data processes and framework on the assessment of environmental dimensions of the SDGs. In 2020, he was awarded the Professional and Scholarly Excellence (PROSE Awards) for Environmental Sciences Category by the Association of American Publishers, for his work in the GEO6. Jim also chairs the Business and Industry Major Group of the UN Environmental Assembly with a mandate of creating an enabling environment for businesses to actively participate and find solutions on issues of climate change and sustainable development.

In 1996, Jim co-founded an outsourcing firm in Manila and grew the same to become a global enterprise.
