The American Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines and Amazon Web Services are jointly organizing a webinar entitled, "Financial Services in the Cloud: Artificial Intelligence and Machine-Learning for Real-Time Detection of Payment Fraud and Financial Crimes", scheduled on 27 September, Tuesday, 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.


This webinar is in line with the BSP Circular 1140 issued in March 2022, requiring supervised financial institutions to implement the following by 31 December 2022. Based on this policy, financial institutions must present their workplan to the BSP starting in September 2022.


This event aims to:

  1. To facilitate a dialogue between the BSP and financial institutions on Circular 1140.
  2. To present how the cloud can help financial institutions comply with Circular 1140.
