For this month's GMLM, AmCham will be discussing the Benefits, potential impact and challenges the Internet of Things (IoT) can bring to your workplace. IoT, simply put, is connecting any device to the internet.
Arguably, IoT has the potential to improve our lives, especially in the workplace. Various industries have already incorporated IoT into their businesses, ranging from logistics, marketing, manufacturing, and comfort. Experts believe the number of IoT-enable industries as increasing in the foreseeable future.
However, with each advantage comes disadvantages. AmCham will be exploring both sides as Mr. Luis Pineda from IBM discusses IoT's benefits in the workplace, with reactors from the concerned industries providing a panel on this emerging technological frontier.
