A self-made technopreneur, academician and an ICT professional, Mr. Edsel Paglinawan has been contributing more than 20 years of highly specialized experience in Telecommunications and IT
industries covering such domains as Network Operations, Sales & Marketing, Human Resources and Product Management.

He is currently heading Product & Innovation Division of Eastern Communications, and is accountable in formulating solutions portfolio strategy and roadmap, creating programs to achieve
product performance, and executing every phase of a product’s lifecycle: from ideation & development, to market positioning.

A true business chief with a 'can do' attitude and a sustained passion for extreme customer delight, Mr. Edsel Paglinawan is the customers’ advocate within his Eastern.

Aldie Garcia is the Assurance Managing Partner of PwC Philippines effective 1 July 2021. He has been an Assurance Partner since 2013.

One of the firm’s youngest partners, Aldie has over 16 years of experience in conducting assurance and advisory engagements for multinational and domestic companies in diverse industries such as telecommunications, technology, healthcare, entertainment, gaming, and agriculture.

He is currently the VisMin Business Lead Partner, whose role is to expand the firm’s operations in Visayas and Mindanao through the Cebu and Iloilo offices.

His expertise and exposure have been strengthened by his two-year secondment to the Gatwick office of PwC UK. He completed PwC’s Genesis Park Leadership Development Program in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, where he was also invited as a speaker in the investors’ forum sponsored by the Boston Business Club. The Genesis Park Program is a PwC Global-sponsored Program in collaboration with Harvard University and INSEAD.

He is a sought-after speaker on accounting standards and regulatory compliance for various public and in-house seminars. He also writes for The Manila Times on accounting, finance, and business advisory topics.

As VisMin Business Lead Partner, Aldie conceptualized and directed the “Reimagining VisMin” project, which aimed to promote selected investment hotspots in the region.

Aldie received the Superior Performance Award upon completing the Management Development Program at the Asian Institute of Management in October 2012. He graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from the University of La Salette in Isabela, and placed 16th in the October 2000 CPA licensure examination.
