AmCham North Luzon

AmCham came to life in 1902 as the Manila Coffee Round Table and later as Manila Merchants Association. Incorporated in 1920, it has since then recognized and reconfirmed the commitment of American business to the development and welfare of the Philippines and the Filipino people.

This is a commitment of long-standing, as its mission statement declares:

The Chamber exists to serve the interests of U.S. businesses through the participation of members in promoting their long-term objectives while contributing to the civic and economic development of the Philippines.”

The AmCham North Luzon Chapter will be having its Virtual Kapihan on Friday, March 26, 2021, at 8:00 AM via Zoom. This month's special guest, Mr. Ferdinand Abella Juan, is a disaster resilience expert and will talk about disaster preparedness and resilience.

With the increased unrest of Mount Pinatubo, as well as Taal and Mt. Kanlaon, it is important more than ever to be ready and prepared may it be for family or for organizations. Good emergency planning can minimize panic, lower losses, and speed recovery efforts. Disaster preparedness ensures business continuity and saves the workforce and community during emergencies.
