The Information and Communications Technology (ICT) committee of the Chamber is holding its annual BPO Mid-Year Updates on 24 August from 2:00 to 4:00 PM with IBPAP President and CEO Rey Untal and Everest Group Vice President Prashray Kala via Zoom.
Notwithstanding the unprecedented disruptions that the COVID-19 pandemic has precipitated from the previous year, businesses have learnt to adapt better and thrive with the crisis at hand in this present year. It is deemed that 2021 is a "rebound year for the Philippines' BPO and Shared Services industry'' as it possesses a more optimistic and stable outlook. Thus, the industry is better equipped for business resurgence and stabilization. Furthermore, outlook points for the country's BPO and IT services include humanization, virtualization, and decentralization which play a vital role in business recovery and continuity.
