In the advent of the technologically-advanced society comes various forms of business opportunities mainly e-commerce. This opportunity however exposes us to various forms of cybercrime.

The committee meeting will focus on the IP infringement, IP violations and IPR rights as a whole in cybercrime. The speaker will tackle challenging questions such as;

What is your recourse should you find a fake product of your IP over the internet?;
What assistance can government provide to the complainant; and
What are the steps one should take in addressing crimes in the internet?

Learn valuable insights in protecting and defending your IP in cyberspace.

Atty. Zamora obtained her law degree at San Beda College of Law, 1994 and graduated Bachelor of Science in Economics at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, 1989. She worked at the Office of the President, Republic of the Philippines at Legal Affairs Office from October 2012- May 2016 and was a consultant in the same office from May 2012 to September 2012. She was the Chief of Staff of Congressman Matias V. Defensor, Jr from 2004 to 2010. She also held the position of Senior Court Attorney at the Office of Associate Justice Renato Corona, Supreme Court of the Philippines year 2002-2004. For 5 years, 1997-2002, she was the Senior Court Attorney at the Office of Associate Justice Jose Melo at the Supreme Court of the Philippines. She was a consultant to Mayor Sonny Belmonte and City Adminstrator Paquito Ochoa, Jr.

Atty. Zamora is also a professional songwriter and has written songs for Sharon Cuneta, Regine Velasquez, Zsazsa Padilla, Ella Mae Saison, and Jaya among others. She loves to travel, plays badminton, read books and novels, periodicals on current events and architectural and interior design and dog care. She is also a member of Filipino Society of Composers and Publishers (FILSCAP) and member of KATHA – organization of Filipino Composers.
