Wilma (Amy)
Eisma
Administrator & CEO of Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA)
Amy is known as a professional whose integrity and work ethic are beyond doubt, even as she sets positive examples for creativity, initiative, and resourcefulness at the workplace. An action-oriented and forward-looking individual, she is an effective strategist and catalyst for change. By tapping her legal education, government background, regulatory experience, and business and cultural exposure, she has successfully handled and managed complex issues and concerns.
After a 15-year career as a high level executive in a multinational company, Amy joined the government sector and in December 2016, was appointed as Administrator and CEO of the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) by Philippine President Rodrigo R. Duterte.
To Amy, SBMA is not an unfamiliar ground. As a matter of fact, she is very much at home in SBMA, having worked in the Agency as a young volunteer lawyer during its formative years.
Undaunted by the call to civic duty, Amy was among the 8,000 volunteers who trooped to Subic after the Americans hurriedly left the then Subic Naval Base when Mt. Pinatubo erupted. Little did she know then that after a highly successful and lucrative career in the private sector, she would one day come full circle to steer SBMA to the future with the support for her former co-volunteers.
