AmCham came to life in 1902 as the Manila Coffee Round Table and later as Manila Merchants Association. Incorporated in 1920, it has since then recognized and reconfirmed the commitment of American business to the development and welfare of the Philippines and the Filipino people.

The Legislative Committee (LegCom) online regular meeting on September 30, 2020 (Wednesday) from 9:30 to 11:30 AM via Zoom will now be a joint committee meeting with the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Committee. In this discussion, guest speakers will discuss the status of digital legislation bills related, but not limited to, Philippine Data Privacy Act amendments, Digital Taxation Bill, E-government Bill, and Foreign Investment Act.
