Event Details

AmCham's Education committee will have its regular monthly committee meeting entitled Train & Upskill: The Key to Transforming your Data and Company on November 11, 2021, from 2:00 to 3:30 PM via Zoom. This meeting aims to share not only the importance of investing in upskilling your employees for their professional growth but the impact your company can derive from it.

Without a doubt, getting training or vocational courses in areas such as Data Science or Innovation bring bountiful benefits to an individual. However, what is often not given enough emphasis is the overall impact upskilled employees make and give back to their companies. With the future of business being highly dependent on data and employees with power skills--a combination of hard skills and soft skills, the 21st century is a crucial time to reskill and train employees not only to cope with the changing nature of business processes and demands but also to elevate your organization. With today's business trends, lifelong learning will never be out of style.

Lucille Jade Galvan

Career Services Director of Asian Institute of Management

Lucille Jade Galvan is an experienced career services professional who has worked in Asia over the past 16 years. She rejoined the Asian Institute of Management in September 2020 (since working at the institute from 2011 to 2016) after being based overseas cumulatively for four years at Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) where she worked as Assistant Director after serving at the Asian University for Women (Bangladesh) as Head of Career Development and International Programs including alumni relations. She has also spent over five years in international human resources and operations for multinational organizations.

Jade studied industrial relations at the University of the Philippines and psychology from De La Salle University. She also earned professional certifications in management from the AIM School of Executive Education and Lifelong Learning (SEELL) and in women in education leadership from Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE).

Jade has traveled to 26 countries for music, culture, and sports.
