Training Overview
The Human Resources Department is every company's internal support system. With that, building a culture of support in the workplace should be at the top of every HR Manager's list of priorities. This course seeks to equip HR professionals on common workplace mental health issues, causes of employees' distress, and rapport-building techniques to help them provide support to their employees. Taught by Licensed Psychologist & Board-Certified Specialist in Counseling Psychology, Ms. Alessandra Arpon, this class will use the RAPIDS model to help participants create an effective support system framework for their companies.
Training Objectives
At the end of the training, participants should be able to:
- Differentiate the different crisis reactions and know how to act on such
- Demonstrate the skills for rapport building and supportive communication
- Conducting the RAPIDS model (Reflective listening, Assessment of needs, Prioritization, Intervention, Disposition, and Self-Care)
