The world is continuously changing in the throb of digital innovation. The widespread use of gadgets, particularly smart phones, revolutionized the way consumers access various digital platforms, including financial products, and banking service deliveries. Today, it is worthy to note that both financial and non-financial institutions need to provide the most efficient and convenient service for their clients.
The American Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines believes that businesses have to stay competitive in the midst of Digital revolution. In line with this, AmCham through its Financial Services, Taxes & Tariff and Information & Communications Technology Committees will launch the "Financial Technology Series I" with the theme "Fintech Innovations towards Financial Inclusion" on 23 April 2019 at the AmCham Hall, Makati City.
The meeting event intends to gather both the public and private sectors to dialogue and reflect on the current Fintech landscape in the Philippines. Best practices from other countries will also be highlighted. The committee also aims to tackle regulatory frameworks and technologies as fintech products and services are susceptible to cyber threats and other fraudulent activities.
