The Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) system is an internationally recognized methodology designed to identify, evaluate, and control food safety hazards at every stage of the food production process.
Join us on March 25, 2025 as we conduct the session Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points Awareness Training. This session willprovide participants with a comprehensive introduction to the principles, history, and practical applications of HACCP as a vital food safety management tool. Developed in alignment with the Codex Guidelines, this training aims to equip participants with the knowledge and confidence to ensure that food produced is safe and suitable for consumption.
Course objectives:
- To introduce the trainees to the history and background of the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) system and its importance as a food safety management system in identifying and controlling food safety hazards;
- To introduce the trainees to the Codex Guidelines for the application of the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) system;
- To identify the 7 Principles of HACCP System in order to achieve the goal of ensuring that food is safe and suitable for human consumption; and
- To determine the procedure on how to document the changes that will trigger a HACCP Review or Study
