Lean aims to remove all wasteful activity from all processes, increasing the value your company generates to your customers and at the same time maximizing efficiency.
It is based on the philosophy of defining value from the customer's perspective, and continuously improving the way the value is delivered, by eliminating or minimizing the use of resources that is wasteful, or not essential to the goal. Lean is centered on DOING MORE WITH LESS WHILE DOING IT BETTER. This is done by empowering every member of the organization and leveraging on the full potentials of the people so they can make the greatest possible contribution.
This webinar will provide a clear understanding of Lean and its focus on eliminating defects or service errors through process improvement IN THE NEW NORMAL.
By the end of this course, the participants will be able to:
- Understand Lean, the Lean principles and how to put them into practice;
- Have a sound understanding of the general history of Lean & continuous improvement;
- Identify wastes in the process;
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of reviewing processes and identifying problems, finding and eliminating waste, and improving workflow and reducing service errors;
- Understand the customer, the voice of the customer and the stakeholders.
- Have extensive knowledge of Lean problem-solving and decision making using a systematic approach and complemented with Critical Thinking and Innovation; and
- Have an up-to-date understanding of the Lean tools, techniques, metrics and improvement methodologies and can BOUNCE FORWARD as they apply these tools immediately after attending the course.
This webinar will be facilitated by a Six Sigma Master Black Belt with hands-on experience on Lean Management. There will be activities, assignment s and reasing materials will be provided.
