IATF Resolution No. 131-A dated 5 August 2021 has mandated major changes to the entry rules into the Philippines for foreign nationals effective 16 August 2021. Atty. Judan will discuss how the Travel Ban Exemption (TBE) system developed over the past one and a half years and how IATF Resolution No. 131-A will change it.

describes the Travel Ban Exemption (TBE) system that has developed since the onset of Covid-19 pandemic-related travel restrictions in the Philippines in March 2020

discusses major changes to the TBE system which will take effect on 16 August 2021

Atty. Dennis Joseph Judan

Atty. Dennis Joseph D. Judan is the Managing Partner of JUDAN LAW OFFICES, a Philippine law firm primarily engaged in company formation, business registration, corporate structuring, legal advisory, real estate law, labor law, immigration law, and commercial litigation.

Atty. Judan graduated with a degree in Economics from the Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU). He then proceeded to the School of Law of the same university where he obtained a Juris Doctor degree in 1998 and was ranked 10th in his graduating class. He then worked in the biggest law firm in the Philippines, SyCip Salazar Hernandez & Gatmaitan, where he practiced in the fields of labor law, immigration law, litigation (civil, criminal, and administrative), and maritime practice. Before starting his current law firm of Judan Law Offices, he co-founded the law firm of Villa Judan and Cruz in 2008 and, among others, headed that law firm’s specialized Philippine immigration department.
Atty. Judan is also a licensed real estate broker, having garnered 6th place in the 2011 Board Examinations for Real Estate Brokers conducted by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). Aside from this, he is also a licensed real estate appraiser, having garnered 5th place in the 2011 Board Examinations for Real Estate Appraisers conducted by the PRC.

Atty. Judan has over 20 years of extensive experience in various Philippine legal practice areas. He is actively engaged in legal and consulting work for numerous companies and organizations in the Philippines.

His most recent endeavor is the publication of a book entitled Philippine Visas and Work Permits (A Quick Guide to Philippine Immigration). This book was launched on 1 October 2018 and was featured in the (15 October 2018) issue of BizNews Asia, the largest wide circulation weekly business news magazine in the Philippines.
