Studying in an international school provides a wide array of advantages as they ensure that the academic programs received by students are patterned to the global standard, and association with international affiliates gives easy access to global opportunities. Furthermore, students have an interactive attitude when dealing with foreign people and situations as their adaptability to the world settings will be developed and they will be able to have an international point of view equipped with knowledge regarding other cultures, nations, and religions.

Given the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the education sector across the globe, businessmen, academe officials, particularly, parents who have their children enrolled in international schools in the Philippines want to be updated on relevant issues concerning (1) the challenges they are facing as an effect of the pandemic; (2) their future plans as well as strategies in mitigating the problems put forward by COVID-19; and lastly (3) other changing trends in the education sector.

The discussion will give a brief overview on the status quo of the international schools in the Philippines, how they are preparing to move to a face-to-face setting once the transmission rate of the virus dies down, and will also provide recommendations as to how students can still get a quality education given the changing and uncertain environment.
