Amparo Pamela "Mimi" Fabe is a Countering the Financing of Terrorism and a Countering Violent Extremism specialist who carries out research in Southeast Asia. She focuses on ISIS terrorism funding in Indonesia and the Philippines. She is co-author of the Routledge Global Handbook of Terrorism Funding by Routledge (2020) with Scott Romaniuk and Christian Kaunefert. Her chapter on Philippine Cybersecurity is featured in The Routledge Companion to Global Cyber Security Strategy 2020.
Her research on ISIS Terrorism Financing is featured in The Marawi Siege and Its Aftermath by the Cambridge Scholars Publishing UK in 2020 and in the volume on Perspectives in Terrorism published by the UP College of Law Institute of International Legal Studies in 2019. Her research on terrorist financing and terrorist organizations are featured in The Handbook of Homeland Security by CRC Press (Taylor & Francis Group) 2020 and The Palgrave Encyclopedia of Global Security Studies, Springer, 2020. She is a Professor in Financial Terrorism and Transnational Organized Crime at the National Police College, Philippines.
She is co-author of the book, Disruptive Innovations of the Duterte Presidency which highlights the achievements of the Duterte Administration.
