Dr. Stephen Thomas F. Lacson, MD, FPDSConsultant` at Makati Medical Center
Dr. Stephen Thomas F. Lacson is a Fellow of the Philippine Dermatological Society (PDS). He finished his medical degree at the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery and completed his residency training in Dermatology at the Makati Medical Center (MMC). With an interest in Dermatologic Surgery and Lasers, Dr. Lacson underwent further training in Dermatologic Surgery under the Preceptorship Training Program of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS) with Dr. Naomi Lawrence at the Center for Dermatologic Surgery in Marlton, New Jersey, USA (2005). He later did his Fellowship in Dermatologic Laser Surgery at the Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University in Bangkok, Thailand, which was headed by Dr. Niwat Polnikorn (2005). Dr. Lacson is a Consultant and Active Staff of the Department of Dermatology at the Makati Medical Center (MMC) where he is the Head of the Section of Dermatologic Surgery and is a member of the Training Committee for the residents. He is also presently the Head of the Dermatologic Surgery Subspecialty Core Group and Head of the Procedural Dermatology Board of the Philippine Dermatological Society (PDS). Dr. Lacson also serves as the Medical Director of HOO Center for Dermatology and is active in teaching young dermatologists by giving various lectures and workshops. He is presently part of the Consultant Staff at its Greenbelt 5 and One BHS branches. He is also a Member of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), International Society of Dermatology (ISD), International Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ISDS) and Philippine Academy of Dermatologic Surgery Foundation, Inc. (PADSFI).
