AmCham came to life in 1902 as the Manila Coffee Round Table and later as Manila Merchants Association. Incorporated in 1920, it has since then recognized and reconfirmed the commitment of American business to the development and welfare of the Philippines and the Filipino people.

Event Details

In light of the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) set in place last March 16 in response to the rising cases of COVID-19 in the Philippines, the national government urged both the public and private sector to move towards work-from-home arrangements and other alternatives. Even so, AmCham continues to provide value to the business community.

The Legislative Committee would like to invite you to its regular monthly committee meeting online. In this webinar, the committee will discuss the status of major reform bills in Congress which includes the Retail Trade Act, Public Services Act, CITIRA, and Foreign Investments Act among others.
