AmCham came to life in 1902 as the Manila Coffee Round Table and later as Manila Merchants Association. Incorporated in 1920, it has since then recognized and reconfirmed the commitment of American business to the development and welfare of the Philippines and the Filipino people.

Event Details

The Legislative Committee will be having its Regular Committee Meeting on March 31, 2021 (Wednesday) from 09:30 to 11:30 AM, via Zoom.

In addition to the usual update of the status of priority legislation of the Joint Foreign Chambers and Philippine Business Groups as of the recess in the Congress, the meeting will focus on reviewing the amendments to the constitutional restrictions on foreign equity, Public Service Act (PSA), Retail Trade Liberalization Act (RTLA). This meeting will also give a short update on Corporate Recovery and Tax Incentives for Enterprises (CREATE) Act.
