Atty. Erwin L. TiamsonPolicy Consultant at Foundation for Economic Freedom (FEF)
Atty. Erwin Tiamson is a former Director of the Lands at the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR). After his government service, he served as a land administration consultant in various land administration reform projects in the Philippines including the enactment of the Residential Free Patent Act (RA No. 10023) and Agricultural Free Patent Reform Act (RA No. 11232), Confirmation of Title Improvement Act (RA No. 11573), DENR-LGU Partnership in Public Land Titling, Special Patents on Schools Sites, Rules on Systematic Tilting of Residential Lands under Republic Act No. 730, and the revisions of the DENR Manual on Public Land Disposition.
He also authored studies on policy reforms on land administration and agrarian reform for the Foundation for Economic Freedom (FEF), World Bank (WB), United States Aid for International Development (USAID), National Economic Development Authority (NEDA), Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), The Asia Foundation (TAF), among others. Atty. Tiamson also teaches land titles and land registration in Arellano Law School and U.P. Geodetic Engineering Department.
He finished Bachelor of Arts Major in History at the University of the Philippines - Diliman and Bachelors of Law in San Beda College of Law. Atty. Tiamson is a partner in Pulido and Tiamson Law Offices where he provides legal services on land titles, natural resources, and environmental laws.
