Event Details
Join us for a meaningful tree-planting activity at the Masungi Georeserve, a conservation area dedicated to protecting a unique limestone karst ecosystem. This activity features a 4 to 6-hour guided nature walk with a local Park Ranger, a tree-planting activity, and access to Amihan floating huts.
This event will allow participants to actively contribute to the conservation of a unique and fragile ecosystem. By planting trees, this event will help restore the limestone karst landscape, which has been threatened by illegal logging and quarrying. This hands-on experience not only aids in the reforestation efforts but also fosters a deeper understanding and appreciation of environmental conservation. Participating in this event provides a unique opportunity to experience and learn from a model of sustainable development and environmental stewardship.
