AmCham came to life in 1902 as the Manila Coffee Round Table and later as Manila Merchants Association. Incorporated in 1920, it has since then recognized and reconfirmed the commitment of American business to the development and welfare of the Philippines and the Filipino people.

Managing Director of Co-Chair of Sustainability and Corporate Transitions, APAC

Servaas is responsible for Citi’s loan portfolio for institutional clients in the region. His responsibilities include Balance Sheet management, maximizing returns on capital, and ensuring the loan business aligns with client management strategies and relationships.

Servaas is APAC Chair for Sustainability and ESG, advising institutional clients on transition, ESG trends and financing opportunities, as well as coordinating the training, marketing and execution effort within the Corporate and Investment bank, for Sustainability.

From 2014-2017, Servaas was head of Citi's Corporate Finance team in Shanghai, focusing on structuring, negotiating, execution financing solutions for Chinese clients, as well as working with Corporate Banking on client selection, training and client relationships. He retains oversight of this team today. He also managed an Analysis unit, responsible for all credit approvals for the China Corporate Bank.

Servaas joined Citi in 1999 and has had various roles based in New York, London, Amsterdam and Warsaw.
