AmCham came to life in 1902 as the Manila Coffee Round Table and later as Manila Merchants Association. Incorporated in 1920, it has since then recognized and reconfirmed the commitment of American business to the development and welfare of the Philippines and the Filipino people.

The Legislative Committee will be hosting a Special Legislative Committee Meeting on June 30, 2021 (Wednesday) from 09:30 to 11:30 AM, via Zoom.

Learn how to engage with policymakers to minimize risk and contribute to an enabling policy environment for business in the Philippines!

The talk on learning how to engage with policymakers will be led by AmCham Legislative Committee Co-chairperson and Vriens & Partners Philippines Country Director Elaine Marie Collado, and Associate Director Jon Morales. This will be followed by AmCham Legislative Committee Co-chairperson John Forbes presenting a case study on the progress of the Retail Trade Liberalization Act amendments in the current Congress.
