The AmCham Young Professionals Committee would like to invite you to our Press Freedom Day Celebration to be held on May 28, 2019, 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Ignition Venture Studios at North Penthouse, Marajo Tower 312 26th St. Ave., 1634, 4th Ave, BGC, Taguig.
The event is done in collaboration with the American Spaces of the U.S. Embassy in Manila and Ignition Innovations, Inc. The event aims to bring together media practitioners, young professionals, civil society and be an ideal platform on fostering literacy on the following subjects:
- Ethical, professional and legal standards that are essential to both traditional and social media
- Role of journalists, social media commentators, influencers and bloggers, and civil society on making online media platforms a safe place for meaningful, educational, and productive discourse on issues that affect the Philippines and the rest of the ASEAN region.
