US Embassy in the Philippines

AmCham came to life in 1902 as the Manila Coffee Round Table and later as Manila Merchants Association. Incorporated in 1920, it has since then recognized and reconfirmed the commitment of American business to the development and welfare of the Philippines and the Filipino people.

This is a commitment of long-standing, as its mission statement declares:

The Chamber exists to serve the interests of U.S. businesses through the participation of members in promoting their long-term objectives while contributing to the civic and economic development of the Philippines.”

In line with the Philippine-U.S. Friendship month this July, this episode of the US Embassy Talks FB Live will feature Filipinos who are currently studying in the U.S. and alumni personalities who will share their amazing stories as international students and how their education in the United States have helped them in their professional careers and in advancing their advocacies. This virtual event also aims to encourage more Filipinos to take their undergraduate and graduate studies in the U.S. as EducationUSA advisers will also talk about all the resources and services being offered by the U.S. Embassy. We hope that by the end of the program, more Filipinos will learn about the significance and value of international education.
