This is a joint meeting of OSAC and AmCham's SDRG Committee. The two organizations may conduct independent meetings and activities, but also regularly conduct joint activities for the benefit of members.

The American Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (AmCham) has been active in monitoring business issues and provides a platform for discussion among key public and private stakeholders. The Chamber's commitments in advancing our shared interests are manifested by the active involvement of its specialized committees and policy advocacies. To date, AmCham has 19 standing committees focused on specific industries' needs and agenda. AmCham works under its four pillars of MAIN: Marketing, Advocacy, Information, and Networking.

The Overseas Security Advisory Council- Manila Country Chapter (OSAC) and the Security and Disaster Resources Group (SDRG) committee, one of the 20 committees of the Chamber spearheads information sharing sessions, meetings, and events related to its priorities. OSAC is a public-private partnership of the United States Embassy – Manila Regional Security Office (RSO) and the business community country wide.
