The fourth since 2016, the Health for Juan & Juana is a yearly event that brings together key health stakeholders in government, academe, development organizations, medical societies, civil society and patient organizations.
The Health for Juan and Juana is also a platform for the Universal Healthcare advocacy, providing high-level discussions on principles and implementation priorities.
This year, the Health for Juan & Juana zeroes in on theme "The Innovation Imperative" which seeks to showcase efforts at finding solutions to urgent and lingering health challenges and draw insights on how Filipinos can benefit.
The Innovation Imperative Webinar Forum on May 27, 2020, 4:00 to 5:30 pm shall feature speakers who will not only inform participants on the latest research and development initiatives on vaccines, treatments and testing on COVID-19 and other public health emergencies, but also share their insights on how collaborative efforts can contribute to building a more resilient nation.
It shall also delve on the country's national aspiration of transforming the Philippines into a country which values, promotes, incentivizes and applies innovation for the Filipino people at the backdrop of the global pandemic.
