Almost 2 years into the global pandemic that is COVID-19, we have learned to coexist with the pandemic. Our personal and work lives have moved toward a more digital, and even virtual, space in an effort to continue with our daily routines without catching the virulent COVID-19 virus. Since then, several medical breakthroughs, economic strategies, business models, and other methods to help us cope and recover from the adverse impact of the pandemic arose. Nevertheless, it is still apparent that COVID-19 changed the way we live and changed our mindset on how to live.
The 2021 PhilCare Community Quarantine Wellness Index: Filipinos and the New Normal is a research conducted to know how Filipinos think and feel amidst the pandemic. This month's healthcare committee meeting will delve into the comfort level of Filipinos about going back to work and their actual state of well-being while in community quarantine. Moreover, the discussion of the study will help us have a better understanding of how Filipino workers have adjusted to the pandemic, how going through the new normal affects their health and wellness, and ultimately, how this will affect business strategies once the Philippines returns to in-person work setup.
