AmCham's Pharmaceutical Committee, together with Pfizer​, is conducting an event entitled, "The Role of Pneumonia Vaccination in Boosting Workforce Productivity," which will be held on November 9, 2022, from 2:00 to 4:30 PM, at the Makati Diamond Residences and via Zoom.


The event will tackle the accessibility of pneumonia vaccines among the workforce and the key role that employers have to play in ensuring the protection of their employees from vaccine-preventable diseases such as pneumonia and how it can ultimately lead to boosting workforce productivity.

    Dr. Anna Fajardo is currently the National President of the Philippine College of Occupational Medicine (PCOM) for 2022 to 2023. She was previously National Secretary of PCOM from 2019 to 2021 and National Vice President of PCOM from 2021 to 2022.

    She completed her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Perpetual Help Dr. Jose G Tamayo Medical University and her Master of Business Administration in Health degree from the Ateneo Graduate School of Business.

    She is an Associate Member of the Philippine Academy of Family Physicians. She is also a Director; Assistant Section Head and Active Medical Staff for Occupational Environmental Medicine under the Department of Family Community Medicine; Chair of the Hospital Occupational Health Safety Committee; and a Consultant for the Group Health Medical Services / Occupational Health Services Clinic at the Perpetual Help Medical Center in Biñan, Laguna. Dr. Fajardo is also an Occupational Health Physician at the University of Perpetual Help System JONELTA.

    Dr. Fajardo is a Member of the Scientific Committee for Occupational Health of Health Care Workers under the International Commission on Occupational Health. She is also an International Physician Member under the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.
