Event Details

The Healthcare and Wellness Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines will be conducting a webinar to discuss the Dengue outbreak in the Philippines – its risks, symptoms, treatment, and precautions. Dengue is a viral infection transmitted to humans through the bite of infected mosquitoes.

Severe dengue is a leading cause of serious illness and death in some Asian and Latin American countries. It requires management by medical professionals. It is most usually found in tropical and sub-tropical climates worldwide, mostly in urban and semi-urban areas, particularly in the Philippines. The chamber would like to increase the awareness of its members and industry partners about signs, transmission, as well as cost reduction measures for Dengue treatment.
