AmCham came to life in 1902 as the Manila Coffee Round Table and later as Manila Merchants Association. Incorporated in 1920, it has since then recognized and reconfirmed the commitment of American business to the development and welfare of the Philippines and the Filipino people.

The American Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines, Inc. - Mindanao Chapter will be hosting a virtual US Thanksgiving Celebration on November 29 [Monday] at 2:00 PM via Zoom.


Thanksgiving Day is an annual holiday in the United States celebrating the harvest and other blessings of the past year. Americans generally believe that their Thanksgiving is modeled on a 1621 harvest feast shared by the English colonists (Pilgrims) of Plymouth and the Wampanoag people.
