AmCham Philippines

AmCham came to life in 1902 as the Manila Coffee Round Table and later as Manila Merchants Association. Incorporated in 1920, it has since then recognized and reconfirmed the commitment of American business to the development and welfare of the Philippines and the Filipino people.

This is a commitment of long-standing, as its mission statement declares:

The Chamber exists to serve the interests of U.S. businesses through the participation of members in promoting their long-term objectives while contributing to the civic and economic development of the Philippines.”

An emergency can strike at any time. Thus, it remains critical for our employees and our community to respond quickly and effectively in the event of an emergency. We all have a role to play in keeping our organizations and communities secure from emergencies of all kinds. As our nation continues to respond to COVID-19, there is no better time to be ready and adapt effective preparedness and mitigation programs to ensure safer organization and stronger nation in times of unexpected circumstances.

Join us on December 9, 2020 for another webinar entitled " When Disaster Strikes: Guide to Emergency Preparedness" (tentative), in partnership with 3M Philippines, as we raise awareness on how to be better prepared for disasters and emergencies with our guest speaker Mr. Keith Roddan from 3M Asia Pacific Pte Ltd.

Individual and organizational preparedness are both essential to protect the people around us. Good emergency planning today can decrease fear, reduce losses, and speed recovery efforts. In this webinar session, we will provide organizations with mitigation information needed to develop an emergency/disaster preparedness plan to ensure business continuity and be better prepared to protect their workforce and community during emergencies.
