This module deals with the study of the control of hazards in order to prevent accidents and work-related illness. It discusses the basics of identification, evaluation and control of unsafe conditions and acts in order to promote safety and health, in simple terms that can be echoed throughout the organization. Different work groups can benefit from applying principles of health and safety in daily life, increasing the value in the work that they do daily, and at the same time making the workplace safe.
