AmCham Philippines' Young Professionals committee, joint with the Financial Services, Taxes, and Tariffs committee of the chamber, hosted an on-site event last Monday entitled, "Empowering Young Professionals: Navigating Sustainable Finance for a Bright Future".
The session was graced by its honorable speakers: Securities and Exchange Commissioner, Atty. Kelvin Lester Lee, SGV & Co.'s Partner, Ms. Glenda Anisco-Niño, and Sierra Madre's Investment Partner, Mr. Gregory Rivera. The Food-Focused Ease-of-Doing-Business hosted by AmCham partnered with the United States Department of Agriculture, and the Philippine Chamber of Food Manufacturers Inc., was attended by industry experts and policymakers to discuss key opportunities in the food sector. From policies, regulations and ways to enhance the ease of doing business.

Last September 5, the American Chamber of Commerce Center for Training & Development (ACTDEV), in partnership with Wendy's Philippines conducted a workshop on Creative Business Writing at the Robert Sears Hall, Corinthian Plaza, Paseo de Roxas, Makati City. The learning session, facilitated by Ms. Wina Puangco-Mutuc, MFA, Program Manager for Training & Development for ACTDEV and Faculty at the Department of Literature, De La Salle University Manila, focused on mastering the art of business writing with flair—further delving into effective writing techniques in finding the right balance between creativity and structure and stakeholder management in various business and professional contexts. |

Last August 31, the American Chamber of Commerce Center for Training & Development (ACTDEV) organized a workshop called "Securing Digital Transformation: Prioritizing Data Privacy & Cybersecurity'' at the Robert Sears Hall, Corinthian Plaza, Paseo de Roxas Makati City. This pilot event marks the beginning of a partnership with the National Association of Data Privacy Officers of the Philippines (NADPOP) in pursuit of promoting compliance with the Data Privacy Act among both individuals and businesses in the Philippines. Moreover, the collaboration aims to encourage proactive measures for safeguarding information and fostering innovative security solutions in the ever-evolving digital landscape. |
