The private sector, through The American Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (AmCham), recognizes the importance of shifting policies in the Philippines in our goal to achieving inclusive growth. The chamber also acknowledges the sheer amount of effort needed in attempting to reform our tax laws.
In line with this, AmCham's Manufacturing Committee presents "Tax Talks 2019" a briefing giving updates on the Comprehensive Tax Reform Program (CTRP) -- where we are now, what has happened so far, and what will happen soon.
This briefing is geared towards providing a platform for public and private stakeholders, civil society groups, and the academe to discuss and expound on the intricacies of the shift, and the opportunities and threats resulting from that shift. It also serves as an avenue to build partnerships among key stakeholders to seize these opportunities and subsist these threats.
