Agricultural productivity has worsened due to the dry season the country is experiencing resulting to lower yields from farmers in the countryside. Also, Livestock has been affected in terms of food production for pig farms. On a larger scale, lower food production affects not only the farmers but consumers as well.
The AmCham Agribusiness Committee would like to hear the Department of Agriculture's plans and initiatives in finding solutions that will improve and benefit our Filipino farmers.
